Hopeless Romantic Persona

If you want to see something beautiful, watch this awesome video. There is a sweet story about it below. Watch and then read on to learn what inspired this beautiful project.

So here's the scoop: The creator of the video said that the idea behind the 'Hopeless Romantic' persona came from his own love loss. He met others who were still in love with their soulmates. He called them the 'true hopeless romantics.' Aww.

He said that 'Hopeless Romantic' is the story of everyone who has lost their true love and simply can't move on. They compares it to losing their sunshine and not being able to replace it with a candle. Double aww.

He decided to make this channel to show people that true love does exist, but it doesn't last forever if taken for granted.

The creator wants believers in love to find this channel and relate to it. He wants them to share their stories and encourage the non-materialistic side of love. He says you have to work for love. That is how you make it true. Beautiful.

An Old Spin on a Backstreet Boys Song?

Morissa performs a Postmodern Jukebox version of “I Want It That Way” by the Backstreet Boys. Who knew Boy Bands could sound so old-timey?

Think Differently

I don't think outside of th box because I realize there is no box. It's like the old Apple slogan "think different." Ignoring the blatant grammatical faux pas there the sentiment is so true. Be unique and you'll be rewarded for it.

Speaking of different thinkers, my friends at The Clean Case are changing the way we store our contacts. With their cases, you can avoid contact contamination, while storing your contacts the right way. I just received mine, and they're awesome. They'll be in Walmart and you can and should definitely check them out online.

Think

Thought of the Day: '6+3=9, but so does 5+4. The way you think is not the only way. Respect others' ways of thinking.' Enough said.
Taken in lovely NJ

Now onto our next exciting order of business...my friend, Noah West, has an awesome book out called Sour Cherub (I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to read it before it was even released and let me tell you, it's awesome!) And now you can all read it for free!!! Just go here  (https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/569233), read it, and then support the author by purchasing a paperback copy. I received my signed copy and it looks great on my bookshelf.
Fits in nicely

And finally, if you're on Instagram, I'd love to connect @Feefeertr!

Happy Reading!

Humbleness

Natalie Portman (a literal genius with the IQ to prove it) has one of my favorite interview quotes ever: "The moment you buy into the fact that you are above anyone is the moment you are slapped in the face." I like this quote so much, not just because of those words, but because of the context. It means more coming from a successful and talented woman like Portman who one would assume that if anyone were to have an ego it would be her. But the fact she is humble is a great lesson to us all: humility is a virtue.

Being humble starts with the right mindset. The right mindset comes from bettering yourself. That's why fitness is important. If you're going to work out the right way, you're going to need the right gear. I always count on my friends in Australia at ShapeHouse for the best active wear. I love love love their Giselle Zebra compression leggings. So chic! You definitely want a pair. So be sure to check them out!

"Winning isn't everything...but wanting to win is!"~Lombardi

"Winning isn't everything...but wanting to win is!"~Lombardi
This is so true. It's kind of like how the trip and anticipation getting somewhere are half the fun, because when you set your mind to something that is where the real battle is fought. Good words for a good week, everyone.

Now, onto our next order of business. My friends at Charley's Concrete are vying to be named Reader's Choice in the 2015 Polished Concrete Awards. And they deserve your vote (It takes literally less than 2 minutes, I promise.) All you have to do, is go to this follow this link, look for Charley's Concrete name, and press vote! Easy Peasy! Robots

Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics have intrigued me since I was nine years old. I just always found it funny how even robots have a code of ethics, a set of rules, they must live by. And those rules are:
1- A robot must not injure or through inaction allow a human to come to harm.
2- Robots must obey human orders unless conflicting with the first law.
3-A robot must protect its own existence unless conflicting with the first or second rules.
These rules may be staples in science fiction...but they also may have a reflection on reality in the near future.

I really love this project...this robot project. It's for kids (never too early to get kids into robots). Check out their campaign here and be part of the future of robots.

Cannybots are high-speed Smart Robotic Toy Cars that introduce kids to programming, design, 3D-printing and robotics through play. Build the toy at home with your children and use for engaging games like racing, puzzle solving, sumo wrestling etc. The toy is LEGO compatible. Gift one to your child this Christmas!

Anish, the co-founder, created the first Cannybot for his son as he was worried about the tablet addiction in kids. It became hit at 22 schools in the UK, US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Cannybots have launched the consumer version of the toy on Kickstarter. They are also donating 1 Cannybot for every 100 kits they raise on Kickstarter to KIPP schools to promote tech education in under served communities.

Twenty-two

Growing up, every year for my birthday, I would think of another character who represented my age. I didn’t even really mean to. It just felt natural when I turned four and realized I was the same age as Angelica Pickles. Then when I turned five and realized I was the same age as Julian from Big Daddy, finding another character my age just felt natural.

When I was twelve I was Stephanie’s age in my favorite season of Full House. And at thirteen, I was Angelica Pickles age again, only this time it was her All Grown Up character. Of course at age seventeen I was Holden Caulfield, and at eighteen I was Alex Delarge’s age from the latter part of A Clockwork Orange.

I’ve managed to think of a character my age all these years…until now. I will be twenty-two in a few days, and I cannot think of a single twenty-two year old character. The closest I can come is to Taylor Swift’s song 22, which means I now have one more thing in common with Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer than I thought.

Well, I guess this is goodbye Forever 21, and hello double two. Hmmmm...has a pretty nice ring to it after all.

There's Always Money in the Banana Stand

Any Arrested Development fan will recognize the line, "There's always money in the banana stand." And if you don't, go watch seasons 1-3 immediately, because this is television gold and you will get a dozen great laughs per minute. Then, rewatch the seasons, because the show is always better upon multiple viewings due to the many layers of plot and comedy at work.

OK, have you watched it? Good! Then, you understand why "There's always money in the banana stand" is one of the funniest statements ever uttered.

And if you want to save the money in your banana stand, check out my friends at JollyChic.com coupons. If you are looking for JollyChic coupons, then you should check out "JollyChic.com coupons" page on T Coupons.

Erlebnisse

Erlebnisse is the word for when experiences are felt most deeply. When we actually live...the best way to describe them is that they are not mere experiences but EXPERIENCES.

Hilltop Christmas Tree Farms offers nationwide delivery throughout the US and Canada of real Christmas trees by mail order. In a few simple steps you can order your Christmas tree, choose a delivery date that is convenient and Hilltop will deliver a fresh Christmas tree straight to your door.

Many lot / shop bought Christmas trees are harvested between the months of September and October, however Hilltop only harvest their trees approximately 7 days before they deliver which means our customers also get a fresher more aromatic Christmas tree than most shop bought trees.

Workout

"I don't count my sit-ups until it starts to hurt. Those are the only ones that count." Muhammad Ali said that. It's a great metaphor, even though he meant it quite literally as well. Remember how the rough times keep you going through the good times.

But now back to the literal translation...We all know the benefits of exercise, from physical to physiological. I for one use a desk bike, because I know the importance of exercise but have a deep-rooted loathing for gym equipment.

Look

"It's not what you look at that matters. It's what you see." That is one of my favorite Thoreau quotes. It's all about perspective. Appreciate the positive aspects of everything.

Play-Doh

I was never a big Play-Doh fan as a kid. I had the mentality that if I made something, I didn't want to jut squash it and put it back in the container. I wanted to preserve it forever? Can you relate to that or was I just an over-thinking child?

I guess that is the point of this notebook, to preserve my favorite stuff whether it is facts, quotes, art, or videos...

On that note, I found the coolest YouTube channel that I want to share with everyone! It has a silly puppet who reviews toys and plays video games. Never seen anything like it! Kids and even adults will all love it. And best of all, all the toys are donated to sick children in the hospital. Check it out! I just love it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLbfhc7oGxk

Andrew Jackson

Andrew Jackson is certainly not my favorite president...in fact, he's probably my least favorite thanks to his violent nature. However, interestingly enough he was the only president to ever pay off the national debt in its entirety.
That's why I don't like to keep a lot of twenties around, and I spend a lot of them at Sweet Deal Warehouse. They have great lamps and electronics, so definitely check them out here.

Half Full

It's late or early depending upon how you look at it. Really a glass half full/half empty scenario, except the glass is always full because of air.

I originally wrote this for Twitter. It was a much longer thought, but that 140 character constraint actually wound up making it more cohesive. I suppose Twain's sentiment was true when he said, "I wanted to write you a shorter letter, but I didn't have the time." Brevity takes time and effort.

If you want to see more of my odd thoughts like the above, please follow me on Twitter @Feefeertr. I'd love to connect!
