Robots

Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics have intrigued me since I was nine years old. I just always found it funny how even robots have a code of ethics, a set of rules, they must live by. And those rules are:
1- A robot must not injure or through inaction allow a human to come to harm.
2- Robots must obey human orders unless conflicting with the first law.
3-A robot must protect its own existence unless conflicting with the first or second rules.
These rules may be staples in science fiction...but they also may have a reflection on reality in the near future.

I really love this project...this robot project. It's for kids (never too early to get kids into robots). Check out their campaign here and be part of the future of robots.

Cannybots are high-speed Smart Robotic Toy Cars that introduce kids to programming, design, 3D-printing and robotics through play. Build the toy at home with your children and use for engaging games like racing, puzzle solving, sumo wrestling etc. The toy is LEGO compatible. Gift one to your child this Christmas!

Anish, the co-founder, created the first Cannybot for his son as he was worried about the tablet addiction in kids. It became hit at 22 schools in the UK, US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Cannybots have launched the consumer version of the toy on Kickstarter. They are also donating 1 Cannybot for every 100 kits they raise on Kickstarter to KIPP schools to promote tech education in under served communities.
