OITNB

Orange is the New Black (OITNB) is coming back! I am ecstatic. That is a show like no other that I just cannot get enough of. I spent some time watching Oz, and although Oz is a great show in its own right, it is just not the same as OITNB. Also, speaking of Nextlix originals, you MUST watch Maria Bamford on Netflix, both her standup (done in her living room for an audience of her parents, because she is just that brilliant) and her show Lady Dynamite.

What's Your Favorite TV Theme Song?

I have put a lot of thought into what my favorite TV theme song is, and while there is no easy answer, I have come up with an answer: 'Woke Up This Morning," the theme song to 'The Sopranos.' It's funny because while I've watched every episode of the series (Tony is from NJ after all), I can't say I am a huge fan of the show.

However, if asked to choose catchiest theme song, that would go to "Welcome Back" from 'Welcome Back Kotter." Talk about a happy song!

I recently listened to an excellent TED Talk with Shonda Rimes, where she spoke about how "work doesn't work without play." This is a simple idea, and it is so true! Books!

Okay, I am obsessed with books. We know this. That's why I started GenZ Publishing to begin with. But today I am telling you about two awesome (non-GenZ) books!

The first is Deep Six by DP Lyle. And it is only 99 cents from7/5-711, so mark your calendars for that one. I got an advance copy, and let me tell you, it's great.  It's not your typical murder mystery.
